This street banner from Samurai: Japanese Armor from the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection exhibition at LACMA features samurai armor of the Tengu type (tengu tōsei gusoku)  made by Kiyotoshi and Munekiyo (forged helmet) and Ryūsuiken (helmet), in 1854. This armor was made for a samurai or for a samurai family and depicts the tengu, a half-man, half bird of legend.
