Sugoroku is a board game, very similar to backgammon, that was popular among Japanese aristocrats starting in the 5th and 6th centuries. NUNO's Reiko Sudo used the graphic pattern of playing pieces arranged in rectangles across the board as a jumping-off point to design this bold cotton scarf.
