This set of 20 notecards reproduces 5 images by artist Stuart Davis. Davis was a major innovator and theorist in the evolution of American modernism and abstraction. Davis's appropriation of images from popular culture contributed to the aesthetic that was embraced by the 1960s Pop artists.
