Kastehelmi brings together design pioneer Oiva Toikka’s love of artistic experimentation and his passion for nature. Determined to find a way to hide joint marks in glass, Toikka created the groundbreaking raised glass droplet design to mimic strings of dewdrops glistening under the morning sun. Kastehelmi (“dewdrop” in Finnish) plays with light, truly bringing out the reflective beauty of the glass.
Iittala’s beloved Kastehelmi collection offers a wide range of versatile pieces that are both functional and decorative. The soft glow of the Kastehelmi tealight candleholder creates warm ambience. Salmon pink adds vibrant detail. Striking alone or grouped in a collection. A great gift.
