Diego Rivera Profile of a Mayan Warrior Journal
$13.46
This blank journal features a drawing showing a sculpture of a Mayan warrior's profile by Diego Rivera. As Rivera created his signature style after living in Europe, he was inspired by works from Pre-Columbian civilizations. His personal collection included more than fifty thousand pieces. These became the foundation of the Museo Anahuacalli, which opened after his death. The sculpture may have been in his collection.
LACMA has over two hundred and twenty works by Diego Rivera (Mexico, 1886-1957) in its permanent collection.
