This luxurious scarf designed by The Elder Statesman and made for LACMA will banish those winter blues whether you live in chilly Southern California or balmy North Dakota. There is nothing quite like pashmina, but add to that the feather design, inspired by a Peruvian textile in LACMA's permanent collection, and you have a stunningly elegant shawl.
The Elder Statesman was established in Los Angeles in 2007 by Greg Chait. It is a small, artisanal cashmere brand specializing in supremely luxurious pieces and founded on the principles of exceptional quality, impeccable craftsmanship and the finest materials. Greg Chait for The Elder Statesman was awarded the grand prize in 2012 by the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund.
Designed in California, these one-of-a-kind items are sold at the LACMA Stores and NET-A-PORTER.COM with proceeds benefiting the museum. This project was created by LACMA’s Director’s Circle.
