This blank oversized journal features Robert Mapplethorpe's photograph Parrot Tulips, from 1988. Robert Mapplethorpe strove for classical purity and timelessness in his work and sought what he called "perfection in form" in everything. 

Mapplethorpe's archives, consisting of over 2,000 of his most famous photographs, were jointly acquired by LACMA and the J. Paul Getty Trust in 2011.
