The Pam & Gela destoyed sweatshirt for Wear LACMA Fall 2016 collection features two cranes embroidered on the front. Side-split hem is fastened with ties, sleeve cuffs and hem are distressed, and sweatshirt fabric is strategically slashed. Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor are the founders of the Juicy Couture and Skaist Taylor lines. Their newest line, Pam & Gela, expresses a Southern California aesthetic through casual, easy pieces that are both stylish and comfortable.
The pair was inspired by cranes featured on Japanese ceramics in LACMA's permanent collection such as Small Bag-shaped Cup with Cranes and Wave Décor from 19th century Japan.
