The Pam & Gela bomber jacket for Wear LACMA Fall 2016 collection features an embroidered design of cranes and blossoms on the front and back. the cranes are embellished gems. The soft quilted lining makes this jacket warm. Sleeve cuffs and hem are distressed.
Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor are the founders of the Juicy Couture and Skaist Taylor lines. Their newest line, Pam & Gela, expresses a Southern California aesthetic through casual, easy pieces that are both stylish and comfortable.
The pair was inspired by cranes and blossoms featured on Japanese ceramics in LACMA's permanent collection such as Small Bag-shaped Cup with Cranes and Wave Décor from 19th century Japan.
Wear LACMA is an art and fashion project featuring unique art-inspired pieces created by some of Los Angeles’s top designers. These are sold at the LACMA stores with all proceeds benefiting the museum. This project was created by LACMA’s Director’s Circle.
