Mary Heilmann: Color and Passion was published in 1998. This is a new book but has some slight wear to the edges of the covers. The book has not been fully opened. Heilmann was born in the Bay Area and received an undergraduate degree in Literature from UC Santa Barbara. After seeing a ceramics exhibition she decided to switch and studied poetry and ceramics at San Francisco State. She then moved to New York. This book includes information about her technique, inspiration, and talks about her work through much of the 1990s. Also included is an interview with the artist by John Yao and a list of exhibitions.

Essays by John Yau and Christa Hausler. This publication is out of print and is rare.
