For the Wear LACMA: 50th Anniversary Edition, Johnson Hartig for Libertine has designed a jacket using multiple inspirations for his complex and whimsical textile. The jacket has 3/4 sleeves and is printed in a collage of images that are an homage to LACMA and 1965, the year LACMA opened.
Johnson Hartig is the creative vision behind the clothing line Libertine, distinguished by its anarchic sensibility and use of screen prints on modified and repurposed clothing.
Wear LACMA: 50th Anniversary Edition: Wear LACMA is an art and fashion project featuring limited-edition pieces created by some of Los Angeles’s top designers and inspired by the museum’s permanent collection and exhibitions.
