George Brecht: Notebooks I, II, III reproduces three notebooks kept by the conceptual artist and composer George Brecht (United States, 1926–2008, born George Ellis MacDiarmid) who was an influential member of Fluxus. The notebooks date from June, 1958, through September 1959 and include notes taken during a summer class with composer John Cage.

Notebook I includes a conversation between Brecht, Hermann Braun, Dieter Daniels, and Kasper König in 1991 that was inserted after the notebook pages.

This is a rare, out-of-print publication, condition is new with slight crease in slipcase spine.
