no additional discountsFrank Gehry's wiggle side chair became instantly famous when it was released in 1972. While it is constructed of cardboard, the edges are of natural ash hardboard, this is very durable and comfortable. Gehry used cardboard to create design models, and in 1969 began designing furniture that he called "Easy Edges." When cardboard is glued up in layers it becomes extremely sturdy and this chair is a perfect example.
