dosa is a clothing, accessories, and housewares line designed by Christina Kim. Originally from Seoul, Korea, Kim developed dosa with her mother and the label is now in its third decade. Known for its elegant and simple designs, the dosa line is made in Los Angeles by hand, often using textiles from countries that have a tradition of locally made cloth. dosa has designed the Watts Towers collection for Wear LACMA.
Gloria Stuart painted these works while on lunch break from a film shoot in Los Angeles near the Watts Towers. Known for her theater and film work, she is also known for her artist books and collages. The towers were designated a National Historic Landmark in 1990.
Wear LACMA: 50th Anniversary Edition: Wear LACMA is an art and fashion project featuring limited-edition pieces created by some of Los Angeles’s top designers and inspired by the museum’s permanent collection and exhibitions.
