This thirty-page postcard set and mini book features some of Corita Kent's most well-known works, with additional details provided by Alexandra Carrera, Director of the Corita Art Center. Kent's influence on contemporary art and design cannot be understated. Her screen prints throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s combined striking color and text to express messages of love, peace, and inspiration.
Corita Kent was an artist, activist and educator whose teachings influenced many artists in Los Angeles. Works by Corita are included in LACMA's permanent collection and her art was included in the exhibition California Design, 1930–1965: “Living in a Modern Way."
