$36.00
The delicate etching Heads (Têtes) reproduced on this tee comes from a book that Pablo Picasso illustrated in 1931. The unbound letterpress folio where it may be found, Les Métamorphoses by Ovid, was the first publication to be produced by Albert Skira. The profile of Marie-Thérèse Walter, Picasso’s mistress, is seen in many of the images in this publication.
LACMA's permanent collection includes more than one hundred works by Pablo Picasso (Spain, active France, 1881–1973).
