This limited edition lithograph, Untitled, 1980, was created for LACMA by Richard Hunt (b. 1935) in celebration of LACMA's acquisition of Hunt's sculpture Extended Forms in 1980. This acquisition was a major collaborative effort between donors and LACMA, spearheaded by former trustee Robert Wilson with the support of the Museum’s then-active Black Historical Advisory Group.
Hunt is one of America's foremost sculptors and was the first African American artist to have a major retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (1971). He lives and works in Chicago.
