Corita Kent was an artist, activist and educator whose teachings influenced many artists in Los Angeles. These mugs are inspired by her serigraphs based on the colorful Wonder Bread packaging of the 1960s.
Wonderbread (Dots) and 6 additional works by Corita are included in LACMA's permanent collection and her art was included in the exhibition California Design, 1930–1965: “Living in a Modern Way.”
