Member Price
This linen tea towel depicting a woman is based on the work of artist Chris Ofili entitled Afromuses, a series of watercolors done between 1995 and 2005. The figures depicted spring from the artist's imagination. There are subtle variations in their features and they wear opulent and diversely decorated attire.

Ofili was born in Manchester, England, in 1968 and currently lives in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He represented Britain in the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003 and won the Turner Prize in 1998. LACMA's collections include many works by contemporary artists.
