The Love Necklace special edition in sterling silver was designed by Alexandra Grant to benefit the Watts House Project (WHP).
Grant's inspiration for the love necklace and love ring stemmed from her original WHP proposal: to have the word “love” placed upon the roof of one of the houses across the street from Watts Towers. The shape of the sculpture embodies both the “hand-made” and the universal aspects of love.

Grant is a Los Angeles artist who uses language and networks of words as the basis for her work in painting, drawing and sculpture. She recently created Songs of Maldoror for the exhibition Drawing Surrealism at LACMA.
