This extremely soft and comfortable T-shirt has fabric inspired by a Paul Laszlo print. These tees are meticulously crafted in Los Angeles by Bedhead Pajamas for LACMA, you may never wear a more comfortable shirt.

Fabric is 95% cotton, 5% lycra for a soft, stretchy feel

The pattern was adapted from a midcentury modern textile design by Paul László (1900–1993), who worked as a designer and architect in Austria and Germany before fleeing to Los Angeles in 1936 to escape from the Nazis. An icon of mid-century California design, he was known as a “designer to the stars” for the lavish interiors he created for such Hollywood elite as Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Ray Milland, Betty Hutton and Billy Wilder.

The original textile was included in California Design, 1930-1965: "Living in a Modern Way" and is one of two works by László in LACMA's permanent collection.
